A partnership between the Ian Schrager Company, Ares Management, Weinberg Properties and William Gottlieb Real Estate has received $265 million in financing for the development of 160 Leroy Street in Manhattan’s West Village. HFF said it had placed the construction loan with Children’s Investment Fund Management. Overlooking the Hudson River, the project will be a 12-story, 49 unit luxury condominium building, featuring a 70-foot swimming pool, a gourmet take-out and delivery restaurant along with below-grade space that will have a state-of-the art fitness center with yoga room. The project is designed by the Herzog & De Meuron firm and will span the entire block of West Street between Leroy and Clarkson Streets in the West Village. Holliday Fenoglio Fowler arranged the financing thru the Children’s Investment Fund Management (UK) LLP. It’s due for completion in 2017.
