$160m mixed-used project planned for Coral Gables by NP International

17 February 2016

An affiliate of NP International has submitted plans with the city of Coral Gables for a $160 million mixed use project. Located at 215 and 251 S. Dixie Highway, the scheme calls for 554 luxury condos, 168 hotel rooms and 87,900 square feet of ground floor retail. The 4.3-acre site, which is currently being used as a parking lot for a used car dealer, runs along Metrorail tracks. The developer has also promised to fund improvements to the land under the Metrorail with parks and walkways as part of the Underline, a proposed pedestrian trail along the Metrorail from Brickell to Dadeland. NP International affiliate Gables Station bought the property in 2005 for $24.65 million.
