Houses built before 1900 are now on being offered for sale for prices ranging from €300,000 to €1.7 m.
Wall-street.ro reports on the trend, illustrating a villa with eight bedrooms and usable area of over 430 sqm, built in 1890 in the Armeneasca area in Central Bucharest, which has a selling price today of €1.7 m.
On Kogalniceanu Boulevard, a two-floor villa, built in 1896 is being offered for sale for €1.6m, according to the website. The house has a usable area of about 800 sqm, with 19 rooms, eight bathrooms and two balconies.
The site gives examples of similar buildings on sale in other cities, such as a villa in Timisoara, built between 1830-1840. It’s on sale for €900,000. The mansion has five bedrooms and an area of 505 sqm, plus nearly 1,600 sqm of land.
