Posting its best results since the start of the financial crisis, 2,500 new flats were sold in Bratislava last year, writes stavebneforum.sk. Ružinov was the capital’s most sought-after district, with 607 sold flats, followed by Petržalka with 540 deals. The historical Old Town reported 387 deals thanks to the Panorama City project, while 371 flats were sold in New Town. There are currently 2,712 units in the market, one-third of which has occupancy permit. The average price of a newly sold or reserved flat was €107,303 without VAT by the end of 2014. The average price of a newly marketed flat was €125,2104 without VAT.
