Excellence Assisted Living Facility plans to break ground at the end of the year on a $25 million assisted living facility in Lady Lake. The new center named Excellence at Lady Lake will be located an hour northwest of downtown Orlando in Lake County. The three-story, 160 room building was designed by Orlando-based Rabits & Romano Architecture and is expected to create 90 permanent jobs. Central Florida has seen a major increase in senior-living construction with more than $400 million worth of new facilities proposed so far in 2015. The project is slated for completion in the fall of 2016.
