The new Jaguar manufacturing plant in Nitra, Slovakia, hasn’t even been built yet, but the UK-based car manufacturer has already launched its hiring campaign. Despite extremely strong interest from potential employees, the automotive producer may still run into labor problems. Hnonline.sk writes that while the investor plans to hire 3,000 in the first phase, and got over 40,000 applications, it will probably not be able to cover its staff requirements due to a lack of qualified workers on the market. In addition, the new plant’s suppliers will also need thousands of workers. The Institute of financial politics at Slovak finance ministry announced that the number of new jobs created by Jaguar and its suppliers should total 14,000.
