The Board of Directors of the Bucharest Airports National Company S.A. approved the implementation of the technical unemployment measure starting with July 1, 2021, for a period of two months. The decision was taken taking into account the financial situation of CNAB and the results for the first five months of this year.
800 employees, out of a total of 1,370 active, will enter technical unemployment one by one, most of them for a period of four weeks, and a part for two weeks. Currently, passenger air traffic, although increasing, stands at 40 percent compared to the 2019 level.
