Zumtobel, which produces LED lighting, is planning to open new factory in Nis. Project costs are expected to hit €30m. Ground preparation has already started, and the Austrian company anticipates that it will secure a building permit by the end of the month. The new Zumtobel factory is expected to add 1,000 new jobs to the local labor market. The project will go up in two phases with the first phase covering 11 ha.
