Allegro expands delivery network with new logistics partners

20 September 2024

Allegro, Poland’s largest e-commerce platform, is set to expand its Allegro Delivery program by adding more logistics partners in the coming months. The announcement was made by Allegro’s CEO, Roy Perticucci, during a recent videoconference, signaling further growth for the company’s logistics network.

Launched in June 2024, the Allegro Delivery program initially partnered with One by Allegro and Orlen Paczka, offering a seamless, integrated delivery service for both buyers and sellers. The platform now boasts over 18,000 out-of-home (OOH) pick-up points across Poland, and new logistics partners are expected to join the program soon, further increasing its reach and efficiency.

“I am confident that Allegro Delivery, which currently has a robust network of OOH points, will soon welcome additional partners alongside Allegro One and Orlen Paczka,” said Perticucci.

The Allegro Delivery program aims to streamline the shipping process by consolidating the services of multiple logistics providers into a single platform. Regardless of which carrier is used, Allegro assumes full responsibility for the delivery process, ensuring a consistent and reliable experience for customers. The service is expected to be available for all Smart! offers on Allegro, enhancing the convenience for buyers who rely on the platform for online shopping.

For sellers on Allegro, the program simplifies logistics by offering a single point of contact. Through one agreement with Allegro, sellers can coordinate deliveries with multiple logistics providers, allowing them to offer a variety of delivery options to their customers. Allegro Delivery also provides sellers with a unified price list and standardized terms of service, streamlining operations and making it easier to manage shipments.

For buyers, the expansion of Allegro Delivery means more choices for delivery methods, whether through lockers, pick-up points, or home delivery. This is a key component of Allegro’s strategy to enhance the customer experience and improve its competitive edge in the fast-growing e-commerce market.

As Allegro continues to grow its logistics network, the company is positioning itself to meet the increasing demands of online shopping in Poland. By expanding its partnerships, Allegro aims to offer faster, more reliable delivery options, catering to the evolving needs of both buyers and sellers.
