Hines, based in Houston, Texas, has closed on the disposition of a recently completed 276 unit apartment complex in for $100 million. The buyer, the Berkshire Group, paid just under $362,320 per unit for the Aviva Coral Gables at 3880 Bird Road. Completed in 2015 and approximately 95 percent leased at the time of the sale, the eight-story apartment building was developed on a 10-acre site just east of the Shops at Merrick Park. Amenities at Aviva include an inner courtyard with a pool, parking garage, a fitness center and outdoor community kitchen.
