Real wages in Hungary increase 9.2%

Real earnings increased by 9.2 percent y-o-y in Hungary between January and April, while consumer prices went up by 2.5 percent, according the Central Statistical Office (KSH). Net earnings averaged HUF 201,500 excluding family tax benefits, and HUF 209,300 including benefits in April. In the first four months of the year, average net earnings, excluding family tax benefits, were HUF 191,000 . Taking into account family tax benefits, average net earnings were HUF 198,800, according to KSH data.
