More than half of the flats in the first phase of Pilsen’s Unicity project have been sold, according to the developer. Daramis is building the residential scheme in cooperation with M&A Property Investors. The complex includes 542 one- and two-room flats in six buildings. Flat prices start at CZK 1.3m. The project was conceived as an investment opportunity in a city that lacks accommodation capacity for students and professors at Pilsen University. Milan Roček of Hyposervis says there is strong demand and believes rental rates will easily cover mortgage payments and even produce a moderate yield. In 15 to 20 years, the flats are expected to produce a yield of 6 to 9 percent.
