Hochtief Polska has been hired to expand Sopem’s industrial plant in the Niepołomice Economic Industrial Zone. The cost of the deal was not disclosed. A new single-story, high-bay warehouse, offering 6,924 sqm of space, will be added to the plant that assembles electric motors. The expansion will also include construction of a two-story building that will feature offices, trainings rooms and laboratories. Completion is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2018. Sopem is a fully owned subsidiary of the Somfy Group, which develops opening and closing automation solutions for both residential and commercial buildings
