Gebrüder Weiss doubles logistic capacity in Prague-Jeneč

Gebrüder Weiss is expanding its logistics area in Jeneč, west of Prague. The Austrian logistics company is planning to complete construction of three new warehouses totaling 9,000 sqm this fall. This will double its logistics and cross-docking capacity in Jeneč to 18,000 sqm. One of the halls has been designed for storage of dangerous goods. Karel Šindelář, head of Gebrüder Weiss’s Jeneč area, says there is strong demand for this type of facility on the market. In addition to dangerous goods, Gebrüder Weiss’ Jeneč branch also specializes in the storage of high-tech goods. The company also invested into the modernization and expansion of relaxation areas and social facilities for its staff. Costs are expected to run to €5m.
