AEW has acquired the Metro distribution center in Kirchheim an der Weinstrasse, southwestern Germany. The property was acquired on behalf of the LOGISTIS Fund. The purchase price was not disclosed. The transaction was completed through a forward purchase from the developer IXOCON. The asset is pre-leased to the Metro Group, which should start using the 49,500 sqm logistics space in June.
