Star Group has revived its mixed-use project Za stanicou, which it plans to develop at the Bratislava railway station. The plans, including 23,289 sqm of office in a 25-story tower, a 4,333 sqm shopping center and 121 flats, were originally presented in 2010, but construction never got underway. The Israeli developer put the 1.4 ha site on the market in 2014, only to change its mind. Star Group has applied for a demolition permit for the site that used to house the former Areál automatizovanej železničnej dopravy. The new version of the project is based on the original plans. Star Group says it plans to build a 26-story tower with 30,000 sqm of commercial space and 121 flats.
