A trio of partners, Atlantic Realty Companies (ARC), AEW Capital Management and IntegraCare, have kicked off construction of the Hunters Woods at Trails Edge Senior Living Community. The project is located on the former site of the United Christian Parish Church at 2222 Colts Neck Road in Reston, Va. Plans call for a 210 units for senior living, 90 designated as independent living, 81 for assisted living, 15 special needs, and 24 assigned to memory care. Twenty percent of the units at the facility will be offered at affordable levels and 4 percent of the assisted living beds will be available for residents who are eligible for the Virginia Department of Ageing and Rehabilitative Services Auxiliary Grant Program. Construction is set to begin with the immediate demolition of the existing structure, while completion is expected by January 2019.
