Prices for flats in Bratislava slowed in the first quarter of 2017, according to webnoviny.sk, citing a new report from the web portal nehnutelnosti.sk. It said that Bratislava experts noted the trend primarily in two- and three-bedroom flats, which are currently the most popular units on the market. Average prices grew more than 8 percent during 2016, but now look to have slowed to below 5 percent. The average price for a three-room flat in the city hit €2,110 per sqm. In Bratislava’s third district, prices for such units rose more than 10 percent, but they actually fell in the fifth district. Webnoviny.sk notes that prices in Slovakia’s second largest city, Košice, rose 13 percent for three-bedroom flats in the secondary sector, 5 percent faster than in 2016.
