Blackstone has acquired 55 West, an apartment tower in downtown Orlando for $105 million. The 33 story mixed use building is located on Church Street in the heart of the bar and restaurant district. The 461 unit apartment community with 74,000 sqf of commercial space spread across both sides of Church Street was sold by Boston-based TA Associates Realty. The facility features retail and office tenants 7-Eleven, Mad Cow Theatre, Uproar PR, Title Boxing, Ashton Woods Homes, The Rusty Spoon, Amura Japanese Restaurant, Graffiti Junktion, The Flame Broiler and the soon-to-debut California Tortilla.
