Hungary’s agricultural prices dropped 2 percent y-o-y in February, according to the Central Statistical Office (KSH). Crop prices fell by 7.3 percent. The prices for cereals were also down by 10 percent, as were fruits (2.3 percent) and vegetables (3.9 percent) By comparison, prices for live animals rose by 7.7 percent, while animal products were up by 9.4 percent, according to KSH.
