Parkhotel Prague rebrands to Mama Shelter

Parkhotel in Prague 7, which changed its owner last July, will reopen under the brand Mama Shelter later this year. The hotel chain targets millennials who perceive established hospitality norms as archaic and outdated. Regarding their steadily growing purchasing power in the travel industry, hotel operators have been forced to completely rethink the traditional standards in their field. Cushman & Wakefield acted as an advisor on the sale of the Parkhotel, bringing in a buyer in partnership with this innovative hotel operator. This will be Mama Shelter’s seventh hotel in Prague. Accor Hotels holds a 36-percent stake in Mama Shelter.
