ElringKlinger, a German automotive supplier, started construction on a plant in Kecskemét, central Hungary. Costs are estimated at €21m.The facility will offer 10,000 sqm and will produce thermal-shielding systems. The plant is expected to employ a staff of 700 once production starts later this year. ElringKlinger operates 45 facilities and employees 7,700 worldwide, supplying OEMs for companies like Ford, Hyundai, Tata Motors, Toyota and Volkswagen.
