Boston-based real estate investment and private lending firm, Grand Coast Capital Group, has hired John Shanahan as Senior Asset Manager. Shanahan will manage the firm’s commercial loans and asset portfolio, including business plans, leasing, capital programs and operating budgets. Additionally, he will oversee strategic investment of Grand Coast Capital’s portfolio based in the U.S. and Europe. Prior to joining Grand Coast Capital, Shanahan held various positions at GE Capital Real Estate focused on finance, origination’s and asset management, most recently serving as Senior Asset Manager. Shanahan received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Lyndon State College.
