Avison Young acquires 54th US office from CNJ

Avison Young has acquired Rutherford, NJ-based Cresa NJ-North/Central and opened a second Avison Young office in New Jersey. Founded in 2011, CNJ is a privately held real estate firm that specializes in corporate tenant representation for pharmaceutical, biotech, technology, telecommunications and financial services companies. CNJ has been rebranded as Avison Young effective immediately, bringing its total network of offices in the U.S. to 54. CNJ managing principals Tom Giannone and Ron Ganter have become principals at Avison Young. Avison Young’s second New Jersey office will be located in the Metropark area. Over the past eight years, Avison Young has grown from 11 to 79 offices and from 300 to more than 2,400 real estate professionals in Canada, the U.S., Mexico and Europe.
