ČS nemovitostní fond, Česká spořitelna’s real estate investment fund, managed by Reico, is celebrating 10 years on the market. The fund’s volume totals CZK 13.7bn, with investments accelerating over the past two years. In 2013 and 2014, the fund collected CZK 2bn. The 2015 volume hit CZK 5bn and grew to CZK 5.3bn last year. The fund, active in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, is currently considering expanding its acquisition activities to Poland and Hungary. The chairman of the board at Reico, Filip Kubricht, says the fund would target high-quality assets like City Tower and add some retail for diversification. The expansion is being driven by a lack of suitable product the Czech Republic. The fund recently bought Park One, Amazon’s headquarters in Bratislava, for CZK 960m.
