Broadridge Financial Solutions has inked a new lease for approximately 160,000 sqf at 2 Gateway Center in downtown Newark, New Jersey. Broadridge, which currently employs 10,000 people in 16 countries, will move approximately 1,000 jobs to Newark. The firm provides communications, data and analytics solutions to a wide range of companies in the capital markets, wealth management, and asset management industries. The owner of the office building, C&K Properties, was represented by CBRE’s New Jersey office, while Oxford & Simpson Realty Services acted for the tenant.
“This lease represents a major milestone not just for our building, but for Newark at large, with the addition of approximately 1,000 high-quality jobs to the market,” said Ben Korman, Co-Founder and Principal of C&K Properties. “It’s clear that Broadridge, like so many other industry-leading multinational companies, have recognized the value in establishing a significant presence in a world-class space only steps away from the region’s largest transportation hub.”
