Jon Frey has joined the Berkshire Group as managing director and will co-head the newly created Berkshire Business Development area together with Managing Director John Bottomley. They will be in charge of client relations, communications, product development and strategic planning. Before joining the company, Frey was a managing director at The Davis Cos. where he was head of the investor relations division and has held real estate investment management roles at Baypoint Group and AEW. Prior to his real estate career, Frey worked in the San Francisco Bay area at Sapient Corp. for 10 years, developing internet-based businesses for both start-ups and established companies.
“He will play a key role in realizing Berkshire’s commitment to meeting the needs of our investors and to having a fully developed and integrated in-house client relations and product strategy capability,” said Chuck Leitner, CEO of Berkshire, in prepared remarks.
