Aareal Bank has entered into a strategic partnership with Mount street, a servicing company based in the UK. The London firm specializes in servicing and credit management with a focus on commercial property. This new partnership will support Aareal Bank’s growth strategy. Mount Street currently offers loan service in 18 European countries and manages more than €26bn in property loans for approximately 175 global investors, sponsors and lenders. Mount Street recently announced it was in the process of acquiring EAA Portfolio Advisors (EPA), which will add an additional €29bn to its assets under management once regulatory approvals are received. Mount Street and Aareal Bank expect the demand for services in the areas of credit management and servicing to servicing in Europe to increase markedly in the coming years.
