Orbis has finalized a preliminary agreement to sell Mercure Jelenia Góra and Mercure Karpacz Resort on the Polish market for €6.1m. The name of the buyer has not been disclosed. The hotels will continue to operate under the Mercure brand. The sale should close by March 31. Mercure Jelenia Góra includes 188 standard and superior rooms and apartments, nine meeting rooms, a leisure center, a Winestone restaurant and parking. The three-star Mercure Karpacz Resort, located at the foot of the picturesque Karkonosze mountains, has 146 newly renovated en-suite rooms and a restaurant. The property also has a wellness and fitness center with an indoor pool, barbecue area, children’s play area and a large car park.
