The number of nights spent by international tourists in Hungary increased by 21 percent y-o-y in December, while nights spent by domestic tourists were up by 8.6 percent, according to Central Statistical Office (KSH). The highest number of tourism nights was spent by guests arriving from the UK and Italy, growing by 20 percent and 17 percent, respectively. The total gross revenue of accommodation establishments in December increased by 17 percent, within while accommodation fee revenues grew by 21 percent, catering revenues by 9.8 percent and other revenues by 14 percent, according to KSH.
