Ilona Mančíková, the former director of FIM Group, bought the licence of Sotheby’s International Realty businesses in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Croatia. The brokerage operates as Czech Republic Sotheby’s International Realty on the Czech market. In Croatia, Mančíková is planning to open an office in Split and is also considering Zagreb, as she sees big potential along the coast. She wants to strengthen the company’s position on the Czech market as well, but will have to compete with Svoboda & Williams and Asten Property. Sotheby’s International Realty entered the Czech Republic in 2008. It is part of the US-based concern Realogy, which includes Century 21 and Era.
