New York City’s largest commercial property owner, SL Green Realty Corp., has announced the disposition of a 180,000 sqf office building in Tarrytown, NY. The property, Tarrytown Corporate Center, is located at 520 White Plains Road and sold for $21 million or just over $116 per square foot. Jeff Dunne of CBRE represented the purchaser in the transaction. The deal is expected to close during the second quarter of 2017. SL Green Co-Chief Investment Officer Isaac Zion commented, “This transaction is a continuation of our strategic efforts to dispose of non-core assets in order to generate cash proceeds that can be used for reinvestment or further fortification of our balance sheet.”
