Private real estate investment firm Rockwood Capital has admitted Tony Lariño as a partner in the Firm. Lariño is based in the firm’s New York office and jointed the company in 2010 as head of hotel investments. Prior to joining Rockwood, Lariño was a Managing Director with Westmont Hospitality, held various positions at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide and began his career as a Vice President of Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from New York University and a Masters of Business Administration from the Wharton School.
Walter Schmidt, Senior Managing Partner said that over his six years with the firm Lariño “has been an innovative strategist who has significantly advanced our business on numerous fronts. His deep knowledge of the lodging industry and investment management generally will be invaluable as we identify and invest in quality assets for our new fund.”
