Penta Investments unveiled the design of a new office complex it is planning to build next to the mouth of the Strahov tunnel near Anděl in Prague 5. Bogle Architects were chosen to design the SmíchOff office center. Penta estimates costs will run to €25m and hopes it will be able to break ground in summer and complete the project in 2018/19. With a valid planning permit in hand, Penta still has to secure a construction permit. Negotiations with potential tenants for the 10,000 sqm of office space and 500 sqm of retail are underway, but Penta is determined to start construction speculatively. The area will include a private green garden.
