An affiliate of The Simon Konover Company of West Hartford, CT. has closed on the purchase of a 151 units in a 231 condominium community. The property, Greenfield Village in Rocky Hill, CT changed hands for $13.65 million. Greenfield Village is made up of 56 two story garden style buildings with 231 condominium units. The buyer’s investment now consists of 79 one bedroom and 72 two bedroom townhouses with an average size of 778 sqf. The vendor acquired the community in 2000 as part of a larger portfolio acquisition and this sale marks its exit from the greater Hartford apartment market,” according to CBRE/NE’s Simon Butler. He said the investment had ended profitably for it “while at the same time offering the buyer strong yields on a good forward basis and the potential for a value-add execution.”
