Bencont Development is planning to build 474 flats on a site that used to house a winery in Bratislava’s Rača district. The brownfield redevelopment, called Rínok Rača, will feature six seven- to eight-story apartment buildings as well as three mixed-use buildings that will offer shops and services. Three underground parking garages will include 835 parking spots. Bencont has already secured EIA for the project and is currently waiting for a planning permit. The developer reduced the height of the buildings and added more greenery that will stretch across 34 percent of the whole 3 ha site. The project will add €1m to the local budget, which the municipality can use to invest into infrastructure or a kindergarten.
