New logistics sheds under construction at Jacksonville International Tradeport

Jackson-Shaw has announced plans to begin construction on two speculative industrial buildings at Jacksonville International Tradeport. Plans call for two buildings, the first of which will be a 124,000 sqf building with 32-foot clear heights and 37 dock-high doors. The second building will offer 54,000 sqf building with 28-foot clear heights, 16 dock-high doors, a truck court, and 12 optional trailer drops. Jackson-Shaw and Thackeray Partners co-own the development with BB&T providing financing. The project is earmarked for completion in the third quarter of 2017.

“Buildings 3 & 4 are situated in the heart of Jacksonville International Tradeport, which is leased to a diverse group of tenants in the medical supply, food distribution, freight forwarding and exhibit/trade industries, including Mercedes-Benz and Coach USA,” said Michele Wheeler, president and chief operating officer of Jackson-Shaw.
