A former dairy works in Prague 4-Nusle will be torn down to clear the land for redevelopment. The facility has served as storage for the last few years. Aleš Růžička from Nuselska cz, one of the property’s owners, told the server e15 that the company wants to prepare the site for potential future development. He said developers are interested in the area, but negotiations have been complicated by Prague’s blocked permitting process. Before the area can be developed, there needs to be a change made to the master plan and planning and construction permits need to be secured. Central Group wanted to build 200 high-end flats on the 7,500 sqm site, for which it was willing to shell out CZK 177m, but the transaction was never realized. Nusle has become increasingly more attractive to developers lately, with Penta considering redeveloping a former brewery in the location. Geosan also recently completed a residential project there.
