New office stock on the Romanian market tripled in 2016 with more than 280,000 sqm delivered by the end of the year, according to real estate consultancy Esop. More than 370,000 sqm were leased across the country, more than 300,000 sqm of which were in Bucharest projects.
“In the next two years, the office market in Bucharest will have a great dynamism if Romania’s economy will remain on upward trajectory,” said Mirela Raicu of Esop Consulting l CORFAC International corporate office division. “A great time for new projects deliveries is coming with a total area of over 250,000 sqm annually over the next two years, only in Bucharest.”
