Tatry Mountain Resort (TMR) plans to build the largest roller coaster in the Central Europe region at the Slaskie Wesole Miasteczko leisure park near Chorzow in southern Poland. TMR acquired the park two years ago for €7.5m and plans to invest approximately €30m by 2020 into its modernization. The new attraction, Lech Coaster, will bite off €20m from the total. It will be 40 meters tall and 908 meters long, with trucks for 20 people moving at 95 km/hour. Its named after one of the country’s first monarchs, the legendary Lech. Additional investments should follow in 2017-18.
