Česká spořitelna is planning to increase interest rates in mid-January, giving clients a chance to secure historically low mortgage rates for another two weeks. The bank writes in a statement that its rates will grow by 0.4 percent to 2.19 percent starting Jan. 15. Česká spořitelna is currently offering clients a low rate of 1.79 percent for eight years or 1.89 percent for a 10-year period.
