Work on major infrastructure projects won’t be getting underway next year in Prague, a fact that will bother those who have been fighting for the Radlická arterial road and the completion of the outer ring road. City officials claim that preparations for these projects are being worked on intensively, but that smaller projects will take priority in 2017. These include investments such as the completion of repairs on the Nusle bridge, along with the erection of 8 meter lines along the Magistral road between Vyskocilova and Michelska streets. Barrier free entrances will be added to metro stations such as Opatov and Karlovo nam., while improvements will be made in numerous locations along the city’s tram network. In related new, hygiene officials have warned that the city may have to limit the number of trams moving through the city as many are no too loud, following the installation of new rails.
