Central Group is reporting the sale of 1,250 flats in 2016, up by 25 percent y-o-y, a figure it claims gives it market share of 21 percent. The developer’s revenues jumped 40 percent to CZK 5bn and it offers units in all of the Czech capital’s districts except Prague 1. Letňanské zahrady and Residence Garden Towers were its best selling projects of the year. Central Group director Dušan Kunovský says 2016 was the company’s most successful year, adding that it finalized its largest ever land acquisition with a deal for the northern part of the Žižkov railway station. In all, the company claims, 6,500 flats were sold in 2016 in Prague, up by 5 percent y-o-y.
