The situation for suppliers of Jaguar Land Rover’s planned new manufacturing plant in Nitra has become more complicated, following protests from the former owner of the expropriated land and eco-activists. They have engaged in the planning process according to Trend Reality report. Prologis had planned to build three warehouses totalling 95,000 sqm of industrial space next to the plant for use by some of the company’s key suppliers, with construction having been scheduled to start in autumn 2016 on the €30m investment. Current reports claim Prologis will be able to break ground in Q2 or Q3 2017.
