The Boston-area construction manager Tocci Building Companies has broken ground on The Commons at Providence Station. The 255,553 square-foot multifamily residential development in the capital of Rhode Island is the second of the three phase Capital Cove development. The $36 million project will consist of 169 residential apartments, approximately 169 enclosed parking spaces along with a dedicated leasing office. Tocci will work in close collaboration with developers Trilogy Development, architects RGB Architects and engineers Odeh Engineers on behalf of property owner John M. Corcoran & Co. “By implementing VDC technology and collaborating closely with trade partners, Tocci will maximize the potential for this uniquely situated and underutilized parcel, and provide desirable housing options for the local community,” said John Tocci, Chief Enabling Officer.
