CBRE: RE investment volume in Spain exceeds €6bn

The real estate investment volume on the Spanish market totaled €6.438bn in the first nine months of the year, according to figures published by CBRE. Spain accounted for 4 percent of the €163.095bn invested in real estate across Europe between January and September. Investment activity for the period was down by 16 percent y-o-y. The hotel sector accounted for most of the investment deals in Spain. The retail sector also reported y-o-y growth, allowing the country to position itself as the fourth largest destination for retail investments in Europe.
