A new Subspace hostel, which gives guests the opportunity to spend the night in space pods, opened in Zagreb. This is the first of its kind to open in the European Union. Hrvoje Krlic, the owner of the hostel, invested around €250,000 into the project. The hostel has 20 single bed pods.
The walls and ceiling of the sleeping area display a starry sky, painted by Tomislav Buntak, under UV light.
