Brandon Cannon to lead leasing and acquisitions for Ruppert Properties

Brandon Cannon has joined Ruppert Properties as the company’s new Senior Associate, Leasing and Acquisitions. In his new role Cannon will be responsible for in-house leasing of portfolio properties and management of third party leasing providers. Prior to joining Ruppert Properties, Cannon worked as a Relationship Manager for BB&T Bank, managing a portfolio of commercial real estate clients. Cannon attended the University of Maryland where he studied economics and sociology.

“Throughout the process of identifying candidates for this position, we talked to a lot of people and Brandon brought a unique perspective and insight to the industry given his banking experience,” said Bill Meissner, President Ruppert Properties. “While he is new to the industry from an operational standpoint, we feel his perspective and background as a commercial real estate lender brings valuable experience.”
