Czech Airlines headquarters at Prague’s Václav Havel Airport may be renovated into a hotel. Looking to expand hotel capacity at the airport, Czech Aeroholding is considering two scenarios. It will either relocate its staff to the current Czech Airlines headquarters at the so-called APC building and vacate a few other buildings, or it will leave the APC building, opening the way for the premises to be refurbished into a hotel. Czech Aeroholding is now looking for a hotel chain that would be interested in operating the hotel on a long-term basis. The company is also working on a strategy called Airport City which would boost the value of unused plots at the airport. Václav Řehoř, head of Czech Aeroholding, told news outlets that building a shopping center or offices is not an option.
