Approximately 1.5 million Bulgarian residents took tourism-related trips in the third quarter, according to the National Statistics Institute.
The majority (81.3 percent) traveled only within the country, while 13.3 percent went abroad and 5.4 percent traveled nationally and internationally. Compared to Q3 2015, the total number of the travelers increased by 19.1 percent.
